How to Use Your 250 Free Bonus Gifts CD-ROM

  • A computer with a CD-RW or floppy disk drive and Internet access
  • Blank CD-R or CD-RW with burning software, Blank Floppy Disk, Removable Media or functional E-mail Address
  • The 250 Free Bonus Gifts CD-ROM
  • Access to the Members Area to automatically attach and email eBooks.

Copying eBooks To Your Desktop


1. Locate your copy of the 250 Free Bonus Gifts CD-ROM and insert the CD into your computer.



2. Once the CD-ROM loads, use your mouse and left-click on the “Click Here To Open Your Gifts” button on the main menu.



3. Using the numbers at the top of the screen, locate the eBooks you want to copy to your Desktop. You must copy the eBook(s) to your Desktop in order to ship them to your customer.



4. When you find an eBook you want to copy, left-click on the eBook. A menu will pop up asking you if you want to open and read the eBook, copy the eBook to your Desktop or if you want to enlarge and view the cover of the eBook. Left-click on the “Copy To Desktop” button.



5. Another pop-up box will appear confirming that you want to transfer the eBook to your Desktop. Left-click on YES to copy the file to your Desktop.



6. If the file was copied successfully a “Done” box will appear. Click on OK and repeat steps 3-6 to copy additional eBooks. Click the “Exit” button in the top right-hand corner to quit the CD-ROM when you have finished copying eBooks to your Desktop.



7. Verify that all of the eBooks have been successfully copied by looking for and opening the folder on your Desktop titled “Bonus Gifts”. Close the folder after you have verified the files were copied.

Electronically Storing eBooks

There are three ways to transfer the eBooks. You can burn them onto a blank CD-ROM, you can transfer them to a blank Floppy Disk or if you have an e-mail account you can send them to your customer via e-mail if you have your customers e-mail address. There are many ways you can do each of the three ways we are suggesting. There are many variables involved, therefore these instructions are only intended to provide you with an example of how to electronically store the eBooks.

E-mail

1. Open your local or web based email client (i.e. Outlook Express, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, etc.) and create a new e-mail message.

2. Fill out the recipient information and subject fields and include information explaining that you are attaching the eBooks to the enclosed e-mail. This tells the receiver to look for the eBooks as an attachment to the e-mail message.

3. In your email client locate and click the “Attach Button”. A window will open requesting you to select the file(s) you want to attach. Browse to your Desktop and double-left click on the folder titled “BonusGifts”. Inside this folder you will find the files you copied from the CD-ROM to your Desktop. Double-click the file(s) to attach the eBooks to the e-mail. You may need to repeat this step if you are attaching multiple eBooks.

4. Click the “Send” button to send the e-mail with the eBooks as an attachment.

Floppy Disk / USB Memory Stick / SD Memory Card

1. Insert a blank floppy disk, a USB Memory Stick or SD Memory Card into your computer.

2. On your Desktop, right-click on the folder titled “BonusGifts”. A context-menu will pop open. Locate the “Copy” option and left-click it.

3. On your Desktop, double left-click on My Computer. When the My Computer window opens, locate the drive that corresponds with the media you inserted into your computer in Step #1.

For example, if you inserted a blank floppy disk into the computer, locate your floppy disk drive. Open the drive by double left-clicking on the drive icon in the My Computer window.

4. The disk will open and the contents of the disk will be displayed in the My Computer window. If you inserted blank media, no files will be displayed. To copy the eBooks simply left-click the “Edit” menu at the top of the window, and locate the “Paste” option. Left-click on “Paste” to copy the files from the “BonusGifts” folder on your desktop to the removable drive.

5. Once copied, close the open windows and remove the disk or removable media from your computer and mail it to your customer.

Burning Files To A CD-ROM

1. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your computer. You can only write files to blank CD-R media.

2. Start your CD burning software application. Examples of popular burning programs are Roxio and Nero however if you dont have a CD burning program installed and you have a CD burner installed on your computer you can click here to search for and install free CD burning software.

Make sure your CD burning software program is selected on the appropriate option to burn a DATA disk or your CD-ROM may not burn correctly.

3. Using your CD burning software click the “Add Files” button. A window will open requesting you to select the file(s) you want to burn. A CD-ROM can only record 700 MB of data which or up to 80 minutes of audible music.

4. Browse to your Desktop and double-left click on the folder titled “BonusGifts”. Inside this folder you will find the files you copied from the CD-ROM to your Desktop. Double-click on the file(s) you want to burn. You may need to repeat this step if you are adding multiple eBooks to the CD-ROM you are burning.

5. Click the “Burn” button to burn the eBooks to CD-ROM. Once the burn completes successfully, exit your CD burning program, then remove the CD from your computer and mail it to your customer.
