Managing the Products Displayed on Your Bookstore
The Software Billions Club gives you complete control over the products that are displayed on your online bookstore featuring 250+ FREE eBook web sites. You manage the products by logging into the Members Area and clicking on the Manage Catalog button.
The Manage Catalog screen displays a list of all of the products you can sell on your online bookstore featuring 250+ FREE eBook web sites. New products are added each month and will also appear in this listing.
Each product listed contains two options: the option to view information about the product, and the option to edit information about the product.
Viewing Product Information
Clicking the View button will display information about the specific product selected. You can click the Edit Product Details button to edit the individual product, or return back to the listing.
Editing Product Details
Clicking the Edit button will display the information you can edit about the specific product you selected. You will notice that you can only edit certain fields. The fields that are not editable have been provided as a reference only and cannot be edited.
Author: You can change this field if you own the Instant Authoring Rights to the product. As a FREE Bonus we give our Members one eBook product each month with Instant Authoring Rights. By typing your name into this field you will appear as the author of the product when the product is clicked on inside of your online bookstore.
Sell On Bookstore: Setting this option to Yes will allow you to sell the individual product on your bookstore. Setting this option to No will remove the individual product from your bookstore.
META Tag Keywords: This will allow you to provide extra information about your page to the search engines without it being visible to the reader. While search engines do take these keywords into account when indexing your page, they are still going to index the entire contents of your page as many sites do not include <META> tags. Since this is the case, there is no need to be redundant. Include keywords that will not necessarily be derived when a robot visits your site.
META Tag Description: This will control what appears as the summary of your Web page and will be displayed after the title of your document in the index listing. The content of the description should clearly convey what one can expect to find when linking to your site.
Your Selling Price: You can enter the price you want to sell the product for into this field. This price will be displayed as “Today’s Price” on your bookstore. We have set a suggested selling price and a minimum selling price for each of the products you are selling. The minimum selling price is based on your membership level.
Saving Your Settings
Click the Save/Update button to save your updated settings or click the View Complete List button to return back to the Manage Catalog screen.
