 Managing Your Bookstore Options
The Software Billions Club gives you complete control over your online bookstore featuring over 250+ FREE eBook web sites. You manage your bookstore by logging into the Members Area and clicking on the View Bookstore Settings and then Edit Bookstore Settings links.
The Bookstore Settings screen displays a list of all of the options you can set associated with your 250+ FREE eBook web sites. Your bookstore’s web address (domain name) is located on the green certificate we included in the package we initially mailed to you when you became a member of The Software Billions Club. Information in this section will be updated and displayed publicly on the web address / domain name we assigned to you.

Viewing Bookstore Settings
The View Bookstore Settings screen displays a list of all of the options you can set associated with your 250+ FREE eBook web sites. You can click the Edit Bookstore Settings link to edit your bookstore information, or return to the Members Area home page.
Editing Bookstore Settings
Clicking the Edit Bookstore Settings button will display the bookstore information you can edit.
The information edited in this section will be displayed / updated on your bookstore web sites.
Bookstore Information
First Name: Displays the bookstore owners first name.
Last Name: Displays the bookstore owners last name.
Name of Bookstore: Displays the name of the bookstore.
Address: Displays the bookstore’s address information. This information is used to provide your customers with a way to submit correspondence to you, including sending you payments.
City: Displays the bookstore’s city.
State: Displays the bookstore’s state.
Zip Code: Displays the bookstore’s zip/postal code.
Phone: Displays the bookstore’s telephone number. We suggest providing a voicemail box or using a toll-free order taking phone number in this field.
Fax: Displays the bookstore’s fax number. Its a good idea to have a fax number listed so your customers can fax orders to you.
E-mail: Displays the bookstore’s e-mail address. Your customers will use this e-mail address to correspond with you. We highly recommend providing an e-mail address to create the presence of a large company.
Unique Web Address: The address to your bookstore appears in this field. This information also appears on the green certificate we included inside of the Membership Kit we initially mailed to you. This is also frequently called a Domain Name or a URL (Uniform Resource Locator).
Payments Accepted
Offline Methods: Select the methods of offline payment that you are accepting. This will be displayed on your bookstore’s Mail In form when your customer is ready to pay. The methods of payment that you can accept are Cash, Personal Checks, Money Orders and Cashiers Checks.
Checks Payable To: If you are accepting checks, you should type the name on your checking account in this field. If you are not accepting checks, you should type “No checks please.”
Credit Card Options: We have three options available, outlined below.
1. You can accept payments through PayPal (you get paid immediately but are responsible for physical product fulfillment). If you select this option you will need to make sure you follow our complete set of connectivity instructions to ensure your PayPal account has been properly linked to your bookstore web sites and vise versa. If you select this option a second screen will appear asking you to enter the email address associated with your PayPal Account.
E-mail Address associated with your PayPal Account: If you plan on accepting credit card payments on your bookstore we can install a shopping cart that will allow you to accept credit card orders processed by PayPal for FREE. To install the FREE Shopping Cart, enter the e-mail address (you used when you signed up for PayPal) into this field. It is your responsibility to make sure the e-mail address you entered is valid and has been registered with PayPal or risk depositing your money into someone elses account.
2. The Software Billions Club can accept payments for you on your behalf and will mail you a check once a month for all of the sales you receive (you can track your sales in Members Area by clicking on the Store Earnings link) and all products sold through your store are automatically shipped for you by our company.
3. You can choose not to accept credit cards. If you select this option all orders will be mailed or faxed to you, and you will be responsible for shipping all products sold through your store; which you can forward to our Free Drop Shipping Department.
Tax and Shipping
If you are accepting payments using the PayPal Shopping Cart we suggest you use the PayPal Profile option inside your PayPal account to manage tax and shipping charges within the PayPal Shopping Cart. Click Here to read our step-by-step instructions on managing this information through PayPal. If you are not using the PayPal Shopping Cart, or if you wish to override the settings in your PayPal Profile, you would want to enter your settings into this area.
Depending on your States tax laws, you may be requires to charge tax by item, not the entire sale. This means certain items like eBooks may be tax free. You can also add tax on an item-by-item bases in Product Catalog.
Sales Tax Percentage: The percentage your state/county requires you to charge as sales tax. Entering a number into the tax field calculates tax based on the entire order. Leave this blank if you are charging tax on a per-item basis.
Shipping Charges: You set the flat-rate shipping cost your customer pays for Standard Delivery (7-10 Days) and Rush Delivery (3-6 Days). Shipping charges apply to CD-ROM orders only.
(Gold & Platinum Levels). Shipping charges below apply to physical orders only. (Such as our CD-ROMs). Leave blank if you’re only selling eBooks.
Additional Options
HTML Code: Use the box to insert optional HTML code and/or text to display simple links, banner ads, special offers, etc. at the bottom of the home page on your bookstore. Only the code for purposes mentioned above is allowed for security purposes.
Slogan / Special Offer Text: Information typed here is displayed at the top of your bookstore. Many members use this field to post special offers on their bookstore.
As you have probably noticed, we have many more options available. Documentation for each of these is provided in the Edit Bookstore Settings screen inside the Members Area.
Saving Your Settings
Click the Save/Update button to save your updated settings or click the Cancel Changes button to return back to the View Bookstore Settings screen.
