General Questions

Q-1) How do I log into the Members Area to access my member benefits?

A-1) Click the “log in” link or enter your username and password into the log in box located on the main page. Your username and password is required to enter the Members Area. A green certificate was included with your Software Billions Club Membership Kit which reveals your new Internet web site address for your 250 web sites AND a user name and password that you can use to access our private members only web site. Keep this information in a safe place!

Q-2) I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

A-2) There are a couple ways to do this. First we recommend locating the green certificate we included with your package. Unless you have manually changed your password, you can use the one displayed on the green certificate. If you cannot find your green certificate, click the “Forgot Password” link and your username and password will be emailed to you.

Q-3) Do I Have To Own A Computer To Start?

A-3) No! However, you may decide to obtain one soon. Should you decide you need a computer, you can rent one, or use one at your local library, Kinko’s®, friends, etc. Did you know you can buy a brand-new computer for under $400.00? A company called eMachines sells new computers at low discounted prices and are exactly the same as a Dell® or Sony® computer, just half the cost! However, IT IS NOT MANDATORY to have a computer with this program. You don’t need a computer to advertise your web site. Just because your web site is online does not mean you have to limit yourself to only online advertising. Try marketing your web site locally too! Visit the Members Area for more information.

Q-4) When Can I Start Selling The eBooks and CD-ROMs?

A-4) You can start selling the eBooks and CD-ROMs today! Simply choose a marketing method of your choice to begin. Your Online Bookstore featuring 250 FREE WEB SITES are all online right now ready to help you sell the eBooks. To help you get started quickly, we’ve already provided you with voice mail scripts, prewritten classified ads, colorful sales brochures, a listing of OVER 70 Marketing Methods and a directory of companies that can help you advertise and much, much more! Quick Start Instructions begin on page 24 and in Chapter 5 of your manual. You may also want to refer to the “Software Billions Club Resources CD-ROM.”

Q-5) What Price Can I Sell The Software For?

A-5) You can sell your eBooks and CD-ROMs for whatever price you want! There are no selling restrictions! You can run specials, discounts, promotions, create coupons, etc! The sky’s the limit! We have tested the market and determined $49.95 most profitable for CD-ROMs and
$19.95 for eBooks.

Q-6) How Much Money Can I Make?

A-6) The amount of money one can make is solely dependent upon how many methods, funds, time and effort you are willing to invest into your new business. By law, we cannot tell you an exact amount that you will make. We can mention that if you accomplish the above, you have the same opportunity to make as much money as anyone else… maybe more!

Q-7) How will I know when an order has been placed?

A-7) Click Here for detailed pictured instructions. The answer to this question depends on how you are accepting orders. If you are accepting orders by mail, you will receive the order by mail. If you are accepting orders by phone you would need to check your voicemail or contact your order taking service, etc. If you are accepting orders by fax, they will be faxed to you and so on. If you are accepting payments online through PayPal, you will receive an e-mail from PayPal confirming the order.

Q-8) How much do the CDs cost me?

A-8) You are not required to purchase any CD-ROM’s up front. You can simply purchase them AFTER you sell them. SILVER LEVEL Members pay $10.00 per CD-ROM while GOLD LEVEL Members pay $5.00 per CD and PLATINUM LEVEL Members pay an incredibly low $0.75 cents per CD-ROM. It doesn’t matter which title you order, or how many quantities you order (unless the quantities are over 100+ and then we will give you a price break.) Anything you can sell the CD-ROM’s for over your cost is ALL PROFIT. That means you have the flexibility to run your own sales, specials, discounts, etc. The only exception to this rule is that you cannot sell the CDs wholesale unless you own a Duplication License to our CD-ROM titles. By acquiring a Duplication License to our CD’s, you can sell the CD’s wholesale and purchase them direct from us for $0.75 cents each shrink-wrapped and ready to sell, or you can copy them yourself or even have them manufactured independently. Learn more by clicking here.

Q-9) What is the difference between the Silver, Gold and Platinum Membership levels?

A-9) Each level of membership has its own set of benefits. Click Here for a quick overview of our three membership levels. When you upgrade you get that levels set of benefits PLUS all of the benefits of the levels below it. For example, if you upgrade to a Platinum Level Membership you automatically get all of the benefits of being a Silver and Gold Level member in addition to your Platinum Level benefits each and every month.

Your membership level also determines the amount you are paid in commissions for affiliate sales you generate through your online bookstore. Silver Level Members receive up to $500 in commission per affiliate sale, Gold Level Members earn up to $1,000 in commission per affiliate sale and Platinum Level Members can receive up to $2,000 in commission per sale.

Q-10) Why Are There So Many “Options” Available In The Manual?

A-10) Unlike most so called “opportunities” available, we provide our members with a real opportunity that is truly unlimited. We offer all of the various options so that members can take this opportunity as far as they want to go. You must understand that all members can start at the beginning. However, many people have different financial dispositions and may want to start at an advanced level. Q-12) Can I Order Just One CD-ROM At Wholesale Cost?

A-12) No. The minimum wholesale order is 5 CD’s. For example, you can mix titles by ordering one copy of five individual CD-ROM titles by using the Wholesale CD-ROM Order Form. Q-13) How Can I Get A Sample Copy Of Each CD-ROM?

A-13) You will find a CD-ROM Sampler Pack order form on page 168 of your manual. The “Sampler Pack” is limited to one per member. The cost has been drastically discounted to only $47.95 and contains one “full-version” copy of each CD-ROM (includes 12 CD’s total).

Q-14) Why are the “wholesale orders” non-cancelable / refundable?

A-14) We must pay in advance for these items from the vendors that produce them. Once an order is placed, it is considered “produced.” It is the industry standard for not only our vendors, but all vendors of this nature not to refund moneys on these items. In turn, we too could not be reimbursed. However, should any of the above items be received in “non-marketable” or “defective” condition, we would be able to replace that particular item through even exchange. Q-19) Will My Customers Know I Am A Member of the Software Billions Club?

A-19) No. We do not sell our CD-ROMs to the general public. As a Distributor, you do. To your advantage, our products and sales literature does not mention our company. Simply use our sales materials contained on the Software Billions Club Resources CD-ROM and insert whatever information you want (price, content etc.)

Q-20) How Much Money Have Other Members Made?

A-20) Some are making larger amounts of money than others. However, there is not an “across the board” answer for all participants as results vary between individuals in terms of time, effort, funds and methods used.

Q-21) How Long Has This Club Been In Existence and How Many Members Are There?

A-21) This club is fairly new and still has a lot of room to grow. I can’t give you an exact number of current Members, as that information is constantly changing. Regardless of how many people get involved, the software market currently generates $500,000,000 per month.

However, when there are other ads or sites that are similar to your own in the same given space or near proximity, it adds strong credibility to the offer. Therefore, don’t be concerned in the least bit if you do see that happen, your slice of the “pie” can still be substantial.

Q-23) Can I Will This Business To A Family Member If Something Should Happen To Me?

A-23) Yes. In case of your unfortunate demise, you can will this business to whomever you choose. All that we would require is that you send us an original signed, notarized letter that expresses your intentions and to whom this business should be relinquished. All legal concerns should be discussed with an attorney.

Q-24) Does The S.B.C. Extend “In-House” Credit for Purchases?

A-24) Not initially. However, we may review your account activity and history after six months for consideration.

Q-25) Why do I have to offer a refund on my CD-ROMs?

A-25) It is recommended that you offer a refund when selling to the end consumer. This is done so as to increase the likelihood of obtaining an order and makes the prospective consumer feel more comfortable in their buying decision. The amount of refunds requested from end-users is typically very small, if any. All of our software products have a very high-perceived value. Because of the fact that you do offer a refund, the amount of orders you may receive in relation to refunds requested makes the refund equation insignificant overall. As an industry-wide practice, opened software and eBooks are non-refundable.

Q-26) What is the commission for members?

A-26) Your membership level determines the amount you are paid in commissions for affiliate sales that you generate through your online bookstore featuring your 250 Free web sites. Silver Level Members receive up to $500 in commission per affiliate sale, Gold Level Members earn up to $1,000 in commission per affiliate sale and our Platinum Level Members can receive up to $2,000 in commission per sale.

Q-27) When do you pay commissions?

A-27) Commissions are paid on a monthly basis, 100 days after the initial sale by check and will be mailed to the address you have on file inside the Members Area. You can update your address, plus check the commission pay outs owed to you and more by logging into the Members Area and clicking on the “View Affiliate Information” link.

Q-28) When I sell a CD, am I assured that it will not be copied and returned?

A-28) No. That’s the risk any company takes in the CD retail business, but very seldom happens. Most companies have a return policy, which prevents opened software from being returned. When selling our products, you are welcome to use and enforce your own return policy. See question # 25.

Q-29) What are the requirements to use the eBooks on my computer?

A-29) The eBooks are published in Adobe PDF format. Adobe PDF is the global standard for trusted distribution and viewing of information. Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 or higher is required to view the eBooks and is available for FREE download at www.adobe.com and comes included as a FREE bonus on all of our CD-ROM titles.

Adobe Acrobat Reader allows your customers to view your eBooks on all operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Apple’s Macintosh and Linux. That means anyone worldwide with virtually any computer can buy and use your eBooks.

Q-30) What are the requirements to run the CD-ROMs?

A-30) The CD-ROMs require an Intel Pentium II Processor or higher, Windows 98 SE / ME / 2000 / XP / Vista, 256 MB or more of free available system RAM, 1024x768 32-bit color display or better, CD-ROM drive and (optional) Internet connection to run. The CD-ROM products are operational with Parallels on the Apple® Macintosh platform. Q-31) Where and what do I type in order to run the CD on my computer?

A-31) When you insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive, the “auto-run” screen pops up, just follow the on-screen instructions to begin using the CD. If this does not happen, consult the individual CD-ROM’s “READ ME” file or Help file for more information. Detailed instructions for starting the CD also appear on the inside of the CD-ROM cover. Q-32) Someone told me that I can get these CD-ROMs for free on the Internet, is that true?

A-32) No. However, keep in mind that the CD-ROM market is a multi-billion dollar industry. Understanding that, it is possible to find some type of “free disc” on the Internet. Those “free discs” are never “free,” there’s always a catch and you will soon be bombarded with those “catches” if you accept them. If you have found our exact discs on the Internet which are available “for free,” it could be that someone is willing to give away one of our discs if the customer buys one or more. Kind of a “buy one-get one free” offer. We have not yet seen that. However, if you know of the specifics, please let us know so that we may investigate it.

Q-33) How Have You Become Recognized as the “Watch-Dog” of the Income Opportunity Industry?

A-33) We’ve performed validity testing on every income opportunity we could get our hands on for over a decade. We know what works and what doesn’t! Nothing compares to selling eBooks and CD-ROMS.

Q-34) How Can I Get Started With What Is Already Included In The Initial Package At Low-To-No Cost Without Spending All That Money On The Options?

A-34) We’ve provided you with prewritten press releases, classified ads, voicemail scripts, sales brochures and sales letters that sell each of the CD-ROMs. All you need to do is input your name or business information on them and start using them. Marketing Questions

Q-39) What is the “best way” to get started selling the CD-ROMs?

A-39) Every marketing method has been proven to work if executed properly. There are many variables involved. Obviously, the more “methods” you employ, the more likely you are to have greater sales volume. Make sure your advertisement is catchy and will stand out amongst other ads. Target your audience by a specific interest. For example, teenagers would not be as likely to respond to an advertisement about the Start Your Own Business CD-ROM but would more likely respond to an ad about the Greatest Computer Games CD-ROM. More information can be found on the “Advertising Made Easy CD-ROM”. Be sure to include all necessary contact information on your advertisements, and don’t forget to include your web site address!

Q-40) Can I create my own sales materials?

A-40) Yes! However, you cannot use the N.H.B.C.’s name in any of the text or graphics for legality sake. If you write your own materials (excluding classified ads), you must fax or mail a copy to our office for approval. We recommend using Twig One Stop. They do high-quality, low-cost work for small businesses. They also have a wealth of samples to get your creative ideas flowing. Visit them at www.twigonestop.com. Many distributors simply use the SIZZLING sales letters contained on the Software Billions Club Resources CD-ROM. You can place whatever information you choose in the sales letters with just a few keystrokes.

Q-41) How do I use the classified ads and where do I place them?

A-41) Simply take them from your manual and make any necessary changes. Then place the ad in whatever newspapers or publications you choose. We have recommended many newspapers in the manual and can direct you to two bulk newspaper placement services that can place your ad in hundreds (even thousands) of papers simultaneously at very low cost. Q-42) How do I set up a voice mailbox to use with my classified or other advertising methods?

A-42) Call the company of your choice (see page 166) or American Voicemail @ 1-800-347-2861 to set up your voicemail box. Then simply record one of our prewritten voice mail scripts in your manual or create your own. You may add in any additional information such as your web site address or ordering information and so on.

Q-43) What do I send the respondents to my voice mailbox and/or press releases?

A-43) If the respondents require more information, you can send them one of the sales letters or you can print out a sales brochure found on the enclosed “Software Billions Club Resources” CD. The choice is yours. However, please remember that the first impression is important. Therefore, if you are going to send out additional information, please make it look sharp. Our materials are a great recommendation and have been designed to accomplish the sale through a very professional presentation.

Q-44) Why Isn’t There A Voicemail Script That Sells All 12 CD’s?

A-44) The reason is simple: a short voice mail script wouldn’t do an adequate job selling the twelve CD’s for you and your potential customer most-likely won’t have the time to sit and listen to a long script that promotes all twelve titles at once. For best results, when using this method, focus on one CD-ROM title, or present the caller with an option for choosing to hear more information about a specific title.

Q-45) Your literature states I can sell the Instant Publisher PLATINUM CD-ROM for two different prices, $45.95 and $145.00... what is the difference?

A-45) The Instant Publisher PLATINUM CD-ROM is a unique product featuring 750 books, reports and manuals your customers are purchasing from you on CD-ROM so they can print them out and resell them. There is more perceived value to the person buying this product online than off line since the odds are the online customer will also market and sell the reports online and therefore is willing to pay a higher price for this CD. We have found that people are willing to spend more money online with a credit card verses through traditional marketing methods which also justifies the price increase. While we suggest the higher price for this CD when selling online, you can sell all of our CD’s at any price of your choosing.

Q-46) Do you have a brochure I can use to direct customers to my online bookstore featuring 250+ Free web sites?

A-46) Yes! We have a colorful brochure that you can use to tell people about your 250 FREE web sites. You can view the brochure on page 150 of your manual or by clicking here. Simply enter your contact information and the web address that appears on your green certificate on to the brochure, make copies and you are in business. For best results, employ the methods on page 125 of your manual to distribute your brochures.

Drop Shipping & Credit Card Questions

Q-47) How do I sign up for Free Drop Shipping?

A-47) You are already signed up for the Free Drop Shipping Service! You were automatically enrolled when you purchased your Software Billions Club Membership. To learn more, see page 171 of your manual or click here.

Q-48) When I get an order, what do I send my customers and how do I send it?

A-48) You can use our Free Drop Shipping Service (page 171 of your manual) to forward us your customers order information enabling us to fulfill the order for you. You can choose to keep the CD’s in stock (page 32 of your manual) and mail them out from your location. If you decide to mail the CD’s yourself you can package them however you wish. Many distributors purchase “CD-ROM Disc Mailers” from their local office supply store. You can also purchase them online at www.ULINE.com by ordering product number S-2456.

If you are sending the CD’s out yourself, it’s a good idea to send your customer a small note that expresses your thanks for their order and how to contact you for future orders. You may also send the customer a receipt if you choose and any additional information about other products which they may be interested in. Doing so, can create an additional sale or perhaps several without any additional marketing costs.

If a customer mails you a personal check or money order for an eBook simply log into the Members Area at and click the Product Fulfillment link to e-mail your customer their eBook. You can also use your 250 Free Bonus Gifts CD-ROM to copy individual eBooks if you need to manually send your customers an eBook. Click here for instructions on manually sending eBooks to your customers.

Q-49) How long does it usually take the N.H.B.C. to ship my products?

A-49) Orders placed before 12pm PST are generally shipped the same day the order is placed. Orders placed after 12pm PST are mailed out the following business day. During peak times you may experience some shipping delays. You can usually expect your package to arrive within 7-10 business days from the date your order was placed.

Q-50) I don’t have a lot of time, is there someone who can take my orders and ship the products for me?

A-50) Yes! To have your phone orders taken, call Answer Xact at 1-877-733-4610. You may also use the service provider of your choice. Q-51) Do I need to have a credit card merchant account set up before I begin?

A-51) It is not mandatory to have a merchant account prior to starting this program. However, response rates have proved to increase when the “order by credit card” option is available.

Q-52) How do I accept credit card payments from my customers?

After your PayPal account is successfully setup, log into The Software Billions Club Members Area and then click the “View Bookstore Settings” link.

To install PayPal’s FREE shopping cart code onto your new web sites, simply enter your e-mail address into the appropriate box indicating you have a PayPal Account. This links your online bookstore to your PayPal account. Click the “Save/Update” button. Your shopping cart will automatically appear on your site!

Q-53) I realize the Internet is the BEST PLACE to make the most amount of money selling these CD-ROMs. How do I get my very own SUPER COMBO INTERNET MEGA WEB MALL that will AUTOMATICALLY sell ALL 250 eBooks and ALL 12 CD-ROM titles?

Bookstore Web Site Questions

Q-54) How do people order eBooks from my online bookstore featuring 250 web sites?

A-54) Click Here for a picture tutorial which explains how customers purchase products from your web sites. A customer visits your web site and places an order for an eBook or CD-ROM or perhaps both. If you have a FREE PayPal shopping cart installed on your web site they simply click the “Add To Cart” button which opens a complete shopping cart system, powered by your PayPal® account. The customer selects the quantity he wants to order and then is asked for his billing information. He or she can pay you by credit card (processed by PayPal®) or by “check” (debit/using funds from a checking account). eBook orders are automatically emailed to your customers. CD-ROM orders are emailed to you so you can ship them out. If you do not have a shopping cart on your web sites your customer will be presented with an order form he/she can print out to mail or fax orders to you.

Q-55) How will I go about attracting people to my online bookstore featuring 250 websites?

A-55) Read Chapters 1 & 5 of your manual. We have compiled a secret list of 400 FREE ADVERTISING WEB SITES for you to use. You can use these advertising sites immediately. A partial list can be found on page 129 of the manual. The complete list is available online in our members area. In essence, do everything you can to make things happen and don’t simply do nothing and wait for things to happen!

Q-56) How do I find out if my 250 web sites are online?

A-56) By now you should have noticed that a green certificate was included with your Software Billions Club Membership Kit. This green certificate reveals your new Internet web site address. This address provides you with instant access to your 250 web sites. If you do not have access to the Internet, a friend or relative can help you. You can also use the Internet for FREE at your local library. You can also contact Customer Service direct at 1-503-521-9217 M-F 8am-5pm PST and our friendly training coaches can help you view or make changes to your 250 web sites over the phone. Please have your green certificate in front of you when you call.

Q-57) I can’t find my web sites online. How do I find them?

A-57) A link to your web sites can be found when you log into the Members Area. There are two main reasons you wouldn’t be able to find your web sites.

First, make sure you typed the web address (found on your green certificate) in your web browsers address bar correctly.

Second, do not type your web address into a search engine. Search engines are designed for searching by keywords and phrases, NOT web addresses. You need to type the entire web address exactly as written on your green certificate. Click here for detailed help.

The “Internet Made Easy CD-ROM” (which you can use and also sell) contains a complete section with step-by-step instructions for finding web sites on the Internet. Additional instructions are also included with your package.

Q-58) Can I use my pre-existing domain name when I upgrade?

A-58) You need to log into the web site where you registered and manage your domain name. Then, you need to click on the domain name and forward / mask your domain name. When you have found this option it will ask you where you want to redirect your domain name and you will then enter the domain name that appears on your green certificate.

Keep in mind, the domain name we assigned to you must be entered EXACTLY as it appears on the certificate or it will not redirect your visitors to the correct web site. If you have questions on how to do all of this you will need to contact the company with which you registered the domain name.

Q-59) Can I update my own web sites? Do you charge to make changes to my web sites?

A-59) Click Here for easy step-by-step instructions. To make changes to your web sites simply log into the Members Area to make changes to your web sites for FREE. Our Customer Service Department can also help assist you in making some changes to your web sites. Initial minor adjustments or those required through no fault of your own are FREE.

However, should you require additional or constant changes, you will be charged $50 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Most changes are made on Friday’s. Use the “Request Changes” form on to request changes that need to be made to your web sites.

Q-60) Where do I go to get a counter for my web sites?

A-60) If you want to place a FREE counter on your web site you can register at sitemeter.com or StatCounter.com - Free Web Tracker, Counter and Detailed Stats. Once you have generated the counter code, simply log into the Members Area at www.SoftwareBillionsClub.com and click the “View Bookstore Settings” link. Then click on the “Edit Bookstore Settings” link and paste the HTML code into the appropriate box. Be sure to click the Save/Update button. The counter will appear at the bottom of your bookstore’s home page.

For an accurate reading, make sure your counter displays unique visitors and not page views / pageloads. If you choose to display Pageviews, your counter may increase quicker as visitors who return to a page many times on one visit will add a visit each time thereby inflating your count, providing inaccurate results.

Q-61) How do I add a banner or HTML code to my online bookstore featuring 250 web sites?

A-61) Assuming you already have the code you want to add, simply log into the Members Area at www.SoftwareBillionsClub.com and click the “View Bookstore Settings” link. Then click on the “Edit Bookstore Settings” link and paste the HTML code into the appropriate box. Click the Save/Update button.

Q-62) How do I change the shipping cost and tax percentages on my web sites?

A-62) You have the option of charging tax by the U.S. state, U.S. ZIP code, Canadian province, or country they sell in with their PayPal Shopping Cart. You can also select whether or not tax will be applied to shipping. You can add, edit, or remove your tax preferences from the Sales Tax page in your PayPal Profile located at www.PayPal.com. You can also modify the shipping price from this area. Changes to tax and shipping made within your PayPal account will then be automatically applied to all 250 of your web sites inside your online bookstore.

Q-63) How do I change the price of the eBooks on my web sites?

A-63) Simply log into the Members Area and click on the “Manage Bookstore” link. Click the “View Product Catalog” link to display a listing of the items that are currently offered in your store. Simply modify the prices and then click the Save/Update button.

Q-64) Can I add my existing product or product line to my online bookstore?

A-64) You can contact our Web Design Department to discuss adding additional products.
We approve this on a case by case basis. Usually you can create the web pages yourself and submit them to us. Once we receive them we will upload them to our server and place them online for you.

Q-65) How often do you update my web sites?

A-65) Every month you get a BRAND NEW WEB SITE designed to AUTOMATICALLY sell the new monthly products we add to your web sites for FREE. This new web site will take orders for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You also get all of the web site graphics and sales materials for your BRAND NEW product each and every month for as long as you stay a member.

Q-66) If I order my Super-Combo Internet Mega Web Mall, how soon will I show a profit?

A-66) We understand that everyone would like to start today and generate profits by tomorrow, but we must be realistic. Once your order is received, it must be processed and then forwarded to our Web-Design Dept. From this point, we will have your Mega Web Mall running on the Internet within 7-10 business days. Once your Mega Web Mall is active you need to immediately start placing FREE ADS using our FREE ADVERTISING SOURCES on page 129 of your manual. The faster you start placing ads the faster you can start getting buyers to your web sites.

Q-67) Can I add one single CD-ROM title to my online bookstore?

A-67) Yes! You can add additional CD-ROM titles to your online bookstore for an additional $474.00 per CD-ROM title you want to add by calling Customer Service at (503) 521-9217.

Q-68) How much does it cost to obtain the Duplication License for a particular CD-ROM?

A-68) One disc = $994.00. All 12 = $4,995.00. However, as a distributor; you already have everything you need to get started. Purchasing the optional Duplication License simply increases your profit potential. Click Here for more information.

Q-69) How much do the CD’s cost me if I own the duplication rights?

A-69) The CD-ROM titles that you own the duplication rights to cost you $0.75 cents each, or possibly even cheaper if you choose to have them duplicated through another manufacturer.

Q-70) Can I sell the marketing rights to your CD-ROMs and collect royalties?

A-70) At this time, we currently do not offer this option.

Q-71) Why have I only received half of my CD-ROM duplication rights order?

A-71) Did you utilize our payment plan or did you pay in full? If you’ve paid in full, you will receive everything upfront. If you’ve utilized the payment plan option, you will have received half of your order up front and the balance will be delivered after the last payment is received.

Q-72) Do you send out notice for the second payment?

Q-73) How do you tell the difference between the Master CD and the copy?

A-73) You can’t visually notice much of a difference.
